LET'S CELEBRATE A GREAT BRITISH SNACK!

Acclaimed food writers Tom Parker Bowles and Matthew Fort will host a dinner event at our Second Floor Restaurant this May to celebrate the arrival of their new British bar snack – Mr Trotter’s Pork Crackling.

With a weakness for the traditional snack, it was the discovery that the vast majority of scratchings in the market were made in Denmark that led to Tom and Matthew creating the tasty treat with the help of Cotswold farmer, Rupert Ponsonby.

Made from 100% outdoor-bred British pigs, Mr Trotter’s Pork Crackling is cooked by hand in small batches using a new, slow cooking process to deliver a delicious crisper crunch. They are also Monosodium Glutamate free, using sea salt and special seasoning instead.

Tom and Matthew will host the informative yet fun dinner event on Wednesday May 16 and guests will be able to sample the pork scratchings in a variety of dishes.

Tickets for the evening event are priced at £30. To book or for further information please contact reception.bristol@harveynichols.com or call  0117 916 8898. Mr Trotter’s Pork Crackling is available in store now, priced at £1.90 a bag.
