We love our latest innovative advertising campaign – The New Breed (OK, so we may be a little biased, but sure you'll agree!). Shot by prominent fashion photographer Miles Aldridge and styled by Harry Lambert, the campaign stars Spud the British Bulldog, Dozer, an English Bull Terrier, and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Pepper all being carried in this season’s most sought-after arm candy.
The idea plays on the high fashion cliché of the ‘handbag dog’ and replaces the more commonly spotted Chihuahuas and Shih Tzus with a much tougher-looking pooch and shining the spotlight on a ‘new breed’ of accessible fashion.
The line-up of design stars featured throughout includes Kenzo Paris, Theyskens’ Theory, Sandro, Equipment, Alice and Olivia, J Brand, Michael Michael Kors and Sophie Hulme. Please note: We can confirm that no dogs were harmed during the shooting of this campaign. However, a McQ Alexander McQueen necklace mysteriously went missing, but Spud denies any involvement …
