We continue one of retail’s longest running traditions as we recaptures the magic of Christmas with our striking festive window displays. This year, we look to the East, picking up on the trend for Oriental inspired design that was seen on the A/W12 catwalks and continues as one of the top trends for S/S13.
Beautifully hand-crafted Chinese lanterns, flowers and stylised fans are framed by geometric Oriental screens, while brightly coloured metallic finishes, sparkle and glitter add a fabulously festive feel to the displays. The mannequins are dressed in the city’s most stylish designer brands, including McQ by Alexander McQueen, Joseph, Michael Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo and Peter Pilotto.
Traditional Geishas and modern Harajuku teens are referenced, with doll-like makeup and chopstick speared rolls of hair as well as statement Mohawks. Surrounding them, every surface is richly embellished and bejewelled creating an exotic Christmas grotto of luxurious gifts and fashion.
